I was able to achieve a broad range of sound shaping due to the parametric controls and capabilities these plugins provide.

We found that Pro Tools 12’s stock plugins are quite capable and can serve as a sufficient basis for audio production.

With that said, we often had to use third-party plugins for certain tasks. We found that the multiband equalizer was not great and had to use an alternative third-party plugin. 

The FabFilter Bundle of VSTs was effective at replacing some of the Pro Tools stock plugins. 

Some were user-friendly with the interface while others were effective at getting the right sound I wanted.
